Terms of Use

You must provide accurate account information and keep your account secure. You may use Hello Chef only for lawful, personal purposes and may not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or use automated means to extract content or overload our systems.

Hello Chef uses artificial intelligence, which can produce incomplete or incorrect information. Review recipes before use. You are responsible for checking allergens, ingredient labels, food temperatures, appliance instructions, and safe handling practices. Hello Chef does not provide medical, nutritional, or other professional advice.

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Hello Chef permission to host, process, and display that content only as needed to operate and improve the service. Do not submit content you do not have the right to use.

Public profiles, recipes, cookbooks, comments, and reactions must be lawful and respectful. Do not impersonate another person, harass users, publish unsafe or deceptive material, or manipulate community activity. We may remove content and restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users or operate the service.

Premium is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription. Prices and billing periods shown in the app are provided by Apple for your storefront. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.

Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple may charge your account within 24 hours before renewal. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies.

Effective July 23, 2026, referral rewards are available only to eligible new accounts that claim an active invite shortly after account creation. The invited person receives 14 complimentary Premium days after a valid invite is claimed, and the inviter receives 14 days after the invited person completes their first cooking guide.

Each invited account may use one referral. Inviter rewards may be automatically limited to 10 in a rolling 30-day period, with later invitations held for review. Rewards are nontransferable, cannot be sold, have no cash value, and expire at the end of the access period shown in the app. We may withhold or reverse rewards for fraud or abuse. Complimentary access does not change an Apple subscription or its billing date.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features and may limit or terminate accounts that violate these terms or threaten the service. You may stop using Hello Chef or delete your account at any time. Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.

Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Questions about these terms can be sent to justin@solitro.co.
