- 800 g black beans, drained
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 2 tsp ground cumins
- 2 limes, cut into wedges
- 1 avocado, sliced

Cook the rice
Ingredients: 1.5 cup long grain rice. Cook the rice according to the package directions, then fluff it with a fork.

Season the beans
Ingredients: 800 g black bean, drained, 1 item yellow onion, diced, 1 item red bell pepper, diced, 2 tsp ground cumin. Cook the onion and pepper until soft. Add the black beans and cumin and simmer until hot and flavorful.

Assemble
Ingredients: 2 items limes, cut into wedges, 1 item avocado, sliced, 0.5 cup fresh cilantro, chopped. Divide the rice and beans among bowls. Top with avocado, cilantro, and lime.
