Ingredients
- 0.25 cup cilantro, roughly chopped
- 0.5 cup creamy lime sauce, prepared
- 2 cup green cabbages, thinly shredded
- 16 corn tortillas
- 3 garlics, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 0.25 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
- 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
- 0.5 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 3 lb shrimps
- 0.38 tsp salt
- 2 limes, juiced
- 0.25 cup sour cream
- 0.25 cup mayonnaise
Make it
Instructions
- 01
Make the creamy lime sauce
In a small bowl, stir the mayonnaise, sour cream, juice from 1 lime, and 1/8 teaspoon salt until smooth. Set aside.
- 02
Season the shrimp
Pat the shrimp dry. Toss with the chili powder, ground cumin, smoked paprika, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- 03
Cook the garlic-lime shrimp
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp in one layer and cook until opaque and cooked through, about 2 minutes per side. Add the garlic during the final 30 seconds and stir just until fragrant. Remove from the heat and squeeze in the juice from the remaining lime. Shrimp should reach 63°C/145°F at the thickest part.
- 04
Warm the tortillas
Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat, turning once, until pliable and lightly toasted. Stack them in a clean kitchen towel to keep warm.
- 05
Assemble and serve
Divide the cabbage among the warm tortillas, then top with the garlic-lime shrimp. Drizzle with the creamy lime sauce and finish with cilantro. Serve immediately.
